It is evident to the Faithful brother believers and sisters
believers, that we must be lovers of the Prophrt's relatives during
their Lives and after therir death, to adhere to them and to enliven
their relics, some of which are to visit thrir tombsand build them,
for hence there emances from them the blessings, miracles,
requitals and to effectuate needs as it is always noticed from their
favoured holy places; May Allah keep them sacred till the day of
resurrection.
This dignity that we appeal of, is related to one of the
daughters of the Prophet called» Sukainah» daughter of the Imam
A1i Ibn Abi Taleb (May Allah bless him and grant him salvation). It
seems that she is the daughter of (Mrs) alsayedah Fatimah AL-
Zahra'a, for she attended her burial and it was she who our Master
«ALl» called with Fatima's children to say farewell to the cotpse of
their mother.
She is a highly learned woman. Imam Hasan narrated this story
about her and said»: There was admitted to my sister Sukainah
daughter of A1i a man~ervant, so she covered her head, it was said
to her: He is a servant !She answered, a man was denied his desire».
Also, she was a narrator, for the Imam Zeinul-abidin said
about her; taken from the Imam Ali, from the prophet who said:
«Fatima was created a nymph of paradise (virgin) in a sociable
form, and that the daughters of the Prophets do not manturate».


So, It was affirmed that our Master Ali that Fatimah was
another daughter whise name is" Sukaina" ; and it appears from
alsefraini in his book (Nourul-ain) that she attended Karbala'a and
was ~th the captives. It is transferred also some of the questions
related with the uprise of her brother "Hussein".
Some notables wrote books about Al-Sayidah Sukainah, of
which are:
1- AL-Sayidah Sukainah daughter of Amirul-Mo'minin AliIbn
Abi Taleb: composed by the Learned Sheikh Ja'afar Almohajer, Al-
Jaafari Mufti at Baalbeck, the Lebnon.
2 -Al-Sayidah Sukainah) written by the Learned man Mr.
Ahmad Al-Hussaini Al-a'shkouri, Iran.
3 -Banoi na Shamakhteh): written by Mr. Mohammad Rida
Al-Wahid~ in the persian Language.
But as for her tomb in daraya, it is well known to its
inhabitants. They used, a long time ago, to pay her a visit and
forward solemn pledges and ask Allah to offer them their needs at
her sepulchre, and to Light candles at the premises; as we have
heard that from olden people at the region, in addition to all that
we have nowadays a real-estate deed of "Wak£" in the name of Al-
Sayidah Sukainah daughter of Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb issued by
the state offices.
May we ask allah to make us prosperous to serve the family of
The Prophet, and to prove our favours to the relatives of the
Prophet by enlivening their matters, to build their tombs, with the
zeal of those who love benevolence.
May we be resurrected with them, Amen.
